Management Strategy - FY2008 to FY2011

The aim of the Medium-term Plan is to create a new entity focused on being better than our competitors, and maximising productivity and operational quality while enhancing our financial position.

We will need to manage post-merger integration and create a new company culture dedicated to achieving our future goals. We need to spend some of our managerial energy on building trust and creating momentum for later activities that will demonstrate that the new entity is greater than the sum of its parts.

Within these constraints, the management team will aim to achieve the following three targets:

  • Strengthen operational excellence in quality, cost and delivery
  • Deliver budgeted targets
  • Make selective investments in preparation for growth in Phases 2 and 3 and beyond.

The key outcome of this phase is to deliver the targeted level of net debt-to-EBITDA ratio.
